Mayor Gerri Harbison

Council member Harbison, her husband and family have been Montgomery residents since 1985. She was elected to Council in 1999. Gerri is a licensed realtor and a Hospice volunteer. She was a member of the Bicentennial Commission in 1994-95 and has chaired the Montgomery 4th of July Festival in the Park since 1995, the Bastille Day Celebration in 1999 and the Sister Cities Commission from 1997-99 after joining Sister Cities in 1996. She was appointed Mayor December 5, 2007.

Ken Suer

Vice-Mayor Ken Suer and his family have been Montgomery residents since 1989. Mr. Suer has been involved with Montgomery City government since 1992 serving on the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning
Appeals and then the Council since 2001. He has a M. Ed. from Xavier University and a BS. Ed. from UC and spent over 30 years in the field of education holding positions in instruction, counseling and administration.

Barry Joffe

Council member Barry Joffe has been a resident of Montgomery since July 1993. He and his wife, Melanie, have three children. Barry is serving his second term on Council, having first been elected in 2005. Prior to that, he served on the Civil Service Commission for eight years, six of them as Chair. Barry has extensive business experience in career transition consulting, executive recruiting and human resource management. Currently, he is career consultant for Xavier University in the Williams College of Business. He has fulfilled several community roles and is also a Certified Arbitrator with the Better Business Bureau.

Lynda Roesch

Linda Roesch

Council member Roesch is a partner in the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl. Her practice focuses on trademark and unfair competition law as well as copyright and intellectual property law. Council member Roesch has actively worked with the U.S. House and Senate on laws relating to trademarks and the internet. Ms. Roesch is a twenty year resident of Montgomery, and has served as a member of the Montgomery Arts Commission and the Public Art Committee.

Todd Steinbrink

Council member Todd Steinbrink moved to Montgomery in 1998 with his wife, Carla and family. Having lived in the area since 1975, he is a graduate of Sycamore High School and Indiana University. Todd has spent 18 years providing financial and investment services to advisors and clients. He has served on City Council since 2003, having previously served on the Board of Zoning Appeals.

Council member Chris Dobrozsi moved to Montgomery in 1998 with his wife, Michelle and family. Chris has served on the Landmark Commission and a 2008 graduate of the Montgomery Citizen Leadership Academy. He has more than 20 years experience in office, medical office, commercial and industrial real estate development. Through on urban development, he has garnered success in brownfield redevelopment, environmental grant writing and remediation. Chris is the Al. Neyer, Inc. Foundation Chairman, Certified Commercial Investment Member, and a Youth Baseball Coach.

Craig Margolis

Council member Craig Margolis moved to Montgomery in 1994 with his wife, Julie. Craig has been a member of the Montgomery Planning Commission since 2003 and a 2008 graduate of the Montgomery Citizen Leadership Academy. He is the Commercial Sales/Project Manager for Carpet Land/Carpet One in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has been in this position for 20 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Photofinishing Management at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, and has served the community over 10 years through his work at the Wise Temple Brotherhood, Free Store Food Bank, the Alzheimer’s Association and the United Way.
