Kids can learn the lifelong skill of swim lessons!
Group Swim Lessons
Lessons consist of 8 half hour classes, Monday through Thursday. Make up days due to weather or swim team meets will be on Fridays.
Register in person at the pool or register online in May. Registration for current pool members begins May 4. Non-pool members may begin registration May 18.
Fees for current pool members $35, Non-Members $50
Class size limited to 6 students. Minimum of 4 students per class required.
Children must be at least 4 years of age to participate.

Skill Levels
- Level 1: Water Exploration – child must be able to leave parent and test water
- Level 2: Primary Skills –comfortable to 2ft of water; able to submerge
- Level 3: Stroke Readiness – able to float; able to use arm stroke and kick 5 yards
- Level 4: Stroke Development – able to swim front crawl with rhythmic breathing for 20 yards and swim back crawl
- Level 5: Stroke Refinement – able to dive in deep water; able to perform front, back, breast and side strokes for 15 yards
Special Classes Levels 6 and 7
- Fun with Me Swim Class: get wet and wiggle introductory swim lessons for an interactive parent-child setting in the water for ages 6-18 months (level 6) or ages 18 to 36 months (level 7).
* Note that the registration dates end the day before the session starts at noon and we need a minimum of 4 swimmers to run the session. As you can see, we schedule these sessions closely, back to back so we can run 5 sessions this summer. If we do not meet the minimum of 4 swimmers, we will unfortunately have to cancel the session and the pool managers will call you after noon the day before the session.
Other group swim lesson information
Parents and siblings are NOT permitted on the pool deck during lessons, so please be sure your child is willing to go with the instructor and classmates.
No refunds will be given once the first class begins and there is a $25 cancellation fee at all times.
There is no advanced registration permitted for later levels in order to be sure the child first masters the skills in the current class in which enrolled.
Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are perfect for anyone (adult or child) looking for that one-on-one attention.
Private lessons consist of 1, 4 or 8 / 30 minute lessons. Times of lessons will be arranged with you and your instructor.

To request a lesson, complete the private lesson request form which is located online or at the front desk at the pool. Return your form to the pool front desk staff and then you will be contacted.
